A salute on this day to Big Dan

This great shot taken by Bernard Cahier at Brands Hatch in 1968 offers a proper reflection of Gurney's popular image: a steely determination, as embodied by his intense look as he rounds Paddock Bend, and the elegance of the Eagle. Dan Gurney, champion and trail blazer extraordinaire.
