Aston Martin restructures - names Cowell as F1 team principal

10/01/2025 at 10:0610/01/2025 at 10:49 Aston Martin F1 has announced a significant restructuring of its senior management team, aimed at enhancing leadership clarity ahead of the 2025 F1 season. Effective immediately, Andy Cowell takes on the dual role of CEO and Team Principal, overseeing all aspects of the team's operations. Under his leadership, the Aerodynamics, Engineering, and Performance Departments have been restructured into two specialized teams: a trackside operations team and a technology-focused team based at the AMR Technology Campus.
