Fallows steps down as Aston Martin F1 technical director

©AstonMartin Phillip van Osten 12/11/2024 at 13:51 Aston Martin F1 has announced that Dan Fallows has relinquished his role as technical director with the Silverstone-based outfit, but will remain with the Group. Fallows transfer to Aston Martin from Red Bull, where he served as the team’s head of aerodynamics, was a high-profile affair in 2021, with the British engineer joining Lawrence Stroll’s outfit in the spring of 2022. The Briton’s supervision of the development of the team’s ground-effect AMR23 design led to an impressive first half of the 2023 season, with Fernando Alonso claiming six podium finishes in the opening eight races.
