Alpine confirms multi-year F1 engine supply deal with Mercedes

This partnership between the two companies marks a departure from Alpine's original plan to develop its own power unit at Renault’s dedicated Viry-Châtillon engine facility. The deal also involves the adoption of Mercedes gearboxes, streamlining the integration process and optimizing the overall performance of the Alpine car. With the help of Mercedes’ cutting-edge technology, the strategic alliance carries the hope that Alpine can become a strong contender in the 2026 season and beyond....
