Perez blames braking issues for early exit in qualifying
F1 Grand Prix, GP Mexico, Autódromo Hermanos Rodriguez Having struggled for an optimal setup all through the weekend at the Mexico City Grand Prix, Red Bull driver Sergio Perez endured an early exit from qualifying, having been knocked out in Q1. Sergio Perez wasn’t happy with his car during the three practice session at the Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez as he couldn’t find the limits under braking. The Mexican driver and Red Bull were unable to fix the issues, which means that the home hero exited in Q1 for the first time in Mexico, and will only line up in P18 in front of his passionate home crowd.
