Mexico City GP: Sainz snatches pole from Verstappen and Norris

26/10/2024 at 23:2126/10/2024 at 23:27 Ferrari's Carlos Sainz claimed his sixth career pole position by pipping Max Verstappen to the top spot in qualifying for Sunday's Mexico City Grand Prix at the Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez. Verstappen's chief title rival Lando Norris missed out on the front row but the McLaren will start from the second row alongside Charles Leclerc, while George Russell and Lewis Hamilton made it an all-Mercedes row three.
