McLaren to run a one-off chrome-inspired livery in Texas
McLaren has announced that it will run the second edition of the bold, one-off chrome-inspired livery on its MCL38 at this weekend's United States Grand Prix McLaren will race with a special chrome livery at the United States Grand Prix in Austin, Texas. Developed in partnership with Google, this is the second version of their chrome-inspired design, following its debut at Silverstone last year. As part of McLaren Racing’s 'Chrome Shines Again' campaign, the livery – which was first reimagined at the British Grand Prix in 2023 – sees the return of the iconic chrome from McLaren race cars of seasons past, with a modern twist to represent the team’s enduring legacy.
