Perez denies retirement rumour with Leonardo DiCaprio's film

Having found himself at the centre of rumours regarding his future, Red Bull driver Sergio Perez responded to the retirement speculations for the first time, using a clip of a Leonardo Di Caprio film. Although Sergio Perez secured a contract extension for the 2025 F1 season earlier during the season, he has been under pressure for much of the season due to his lack of results compared to team-mate Max Verstappen. Red Bull have recently confirmed the departure of Daniel Ricciardo, who will leave its sister team, the Visa Cash RB with immediate effect, with Liam Lawson set to take over his season from the forthcoming United States Grand Prix.
