Horner: Ricciardo’s fastest lap not a plot against McLaren

23/09/2024 at 11:57 Christian Horner has denied any allegations of collusion between Red Bull and its sister team, Visa Cash App RB, following Daniel Ricciardo’s fastest lap at the end of Sunday’s Singapore Grand Prix. The Aussie’s late-race achievement ultimately deprived McLaren’s Lando Norris of an additional championship point, raising questions about the strategic intentions behind the move. Ricciardo was brought into the pits on the penultimate lap of the race at Marina Bay, enabling him to mount a set of soft tyres and clock the fastest lap of the race.
