McLaren endures another damage to its motorhome as heavy rain hit the Hungaroring paddock
Just two weeks after the Woking-based outfit completed the excessive repair job on its Team Hub, McLaren motorhome suffered damage at the Hungaroring as a heavy rain fall hit the track today. McLaren's motorhome was damaged during the Spanish Grand Prix. On Saturday morning, fire was detected in McLaren’s motorhome shortly before Free Practice 3 of the Spanish Grand Prix. The Team Hub had to be evacuated with Lando Norris having also been among those evacuated as the blaze broke out. Following the incident, the Briton suggested that the motorhome might have sustained irreparable damage, but McLaren has stated that the motorhome might return in full operation before the summer break.
