Verstappen fears the issue 'won't be a quick fix', while Perez hails Ferrari's pace
Reigning world champion Max Verstappen sounded a rather pessimistic note after the opening practice day at the Monaco Grand Prix, stating that his team's issues will not be easy to fix overnight. Max Verstappen endured a similar start to his weekend to Imola just a week ago, struggling for the optimal balance. The Dutchman ended the second practice in P4, half a second off pace-setter Charles Leclerc. The reigning champion complained about mechanical bouncing , suggesting that his RB20 could not cope with the severe bumps of the Monaco street track.
