Serra, d'Ambrosio to move from Mercedes to Ferrari

Ferrari has announced the signing of two key members of the Mercedes team – Loic Serra and Jerome d’Ambrosio – who will both start work later this year. Serra (above, with Lewis Hamilton) has been at Mercedes for 14 years and was head of vehicle dynamics from 2013 to 2018 as the team’s dominant spell began, before being promoted to the position of performance director, a role the Frenchman has held for the past five years. Moving to Maranello, Serra will become head of chassis performance engineering at Ferrari, reporting to technical director of chassis and aerodynamics Enrico Cardile.
