Marko points to setup change for Perez struggles

Article To news overview © Getty Images/Red Bull Contentpool Helmut Marko has pointed out that a last minute setup change for Sergio Perez may have contributed to his low-key performance. The Mexican will start the Spanish GP from eighth position, after making a critical error on his first run in Q3. Dipping a wheel into the gravel going into Turn 12, Perez spun off and was lucky to be able to continue after that. Perez had made a switch to a different rear wing configuration, to match that of Max Verstappen's, and Marko believes this may have take a little too long to adjust to.
