Alonso: I'm better than Hamilton and Verstappen
Fernando Alonso will make his Formula 1 return this weekend following a two-season hiatus. The Spaniard believes he is as good as ever, maybe even 'better' than Max Verstappen and Lewis Hamilton. Fernando has reunited with the Enstone team, now Alpine, which he won his two championships with as Renault in 2005 and 2006. Alonso, now 39, has used his time since leaving McLaren to race in the World Endurance Championship, two failed Indy 500 attempts and a run in the 2020 Dakar Rally.
