Treatment for Grosjean's burns ‘going well', set for Tuesday hospital release

The Haas Formula 1 team has provided an update on the condition of Romain Grosjean, stating the treatment he is reciving for the burns on the back of his hands is “going well”. Grosjean was involved in a heavy crash on the opening lap of Sunday’s Bahrain Grand Prix, with his car splitting in half as it pierced the Armco barrier and bursting into flames. The Frenchman extracted himself from the wreckage and was swiftly escorted to hospital, where it was confirmed he had suffered no fractures.
