Binotto: 'We have a completely new engine for 2021 that's already doing very well'
It is on almost all fronts a season to be quickly forgotten for Ferrari. The Italian team is in a disappointing sixth place in the constructors' championship and team boss Mattia Binotto does not think his team can still compete for third place. In fact, even before the season had started, it was already known that this would not be Ferrari's year. During the tests in Barcelona it soon became clear that the cars of the Maranello team could not reach last year's level at all. During this season this was also the case. Ferrari can't come close to Mercedes and Red Bull at all and often finds itself back in midfield, with Charles Leclerc as a positive outlier, who managed to get two podiums...
