Grosjean now ‘quite tempted' by IndyCar switch

Romain Grosjean has admitted to a change of heart about a switch to IndyCar, saying he is now “quite tempted by it”. The Frenchman is seeking a new challenge for 2021 having been released by the Haas team after five years, with available Formula 1 seats increasingly in short supply. Not that it ever appeared to be an option for Grosjean but the Alfa Romeo door is now firmly closed, for they have confirmed that Kimi Raikkonen and Antonio Giovinazzi are staying. It had appeared that a switch to sportscar racing was the most likely move for 34-year-old Grosjean, who has expressed interest in the Peugeot Hypercar programme for the World Endurance Championship.
