OFFICIAL: Gasly stays as driver at AlphaTauri in 2021

Pierre Gasly will re-release AlphaTauri in 2021. The team has just confirmed this through official channels. The Frenchman performed well this year, but will not be promoted to Red Bull Racing. Gasly stays at AlphaTauri Gasly debuted in Formula 1 at the end of 2017 at Toro Rosso and in 2018 was given his chance to prove himself for a full season with the small Red Bull team. The Frenchman even did so well that he was able to replace Daniel Ricciardo at Red Bull Racing in 2019. However, this did not go as well as expected and the Frenchman was relegated after six months.
