FP2: Weather prevents running, closing action-less Friday at Nurburgring

F1 Grand Prix, GP Germany, Nürburgring After the first practice session was already cancelled, weather conditions continued to play havoc at the Nurburgring, with rain and low hanging clouds making it unable to do any safe running. With weather conditions largely unchanged, Race Director Michael Masi again opted to not allow any running, as conditions were unfit for the medical helicopter to provide any assistance if needed. Running should start then on Saturday, with a one-hour practice session ahead of qualifying.
