For Haas, Perez is not necessarily an obvious choice

At the moment Romain Grosjean and Kevin Magnussen are racing for Haas, but both drivers will be out of contract at the end of this year. It is also not yet clear whether they will renew their contracts and with Sergio Perez leaving Racing Point there is now an interesting option. Perez seems to be a good choice in that sense, but Haas team boss Guenther Steiner thinks it is his. Experience and money Haas has been in the rearguard for two years now and doesn't seem to be able to keep up with the rest.
