Ricciardo 'liked' standing start race resumption at Monza

Daniel Ricciardo gave the thumbs up to the Italian Grand Prix's restart procedure after the race was red flagged on Sunday, and which involved a second launch off the grid for the field. Formula 1 proceeded with a standing start at Monza when the race resumed after 26 laps rather than a typical rolling launch behind the safety car. It was the first time the procedure was put into practice and it certainly proved more exciting, not only for viewers but also for the drivers.
