Leclerc willing to wait for Ferrari success

Charles Leclerc insists he is 'ready to wait' for success with Ferrari in the wake of team boss Mattia Binotto cautioning that it could be 'many years' before it contends for regular victories. Ferrari has challenged at the front of the grid across 2017 to 2019, with Leclerc victorious twice last year, but it has slumped into the midfield this season. But Leclerc, who is tied down to Ferrari until 2024, says he is willing to wait for the team to be competitive once again. “Well on one hand I don’t really have the choice!” Leclerc said. “But surely it will take some patience and I am ready to wait.
