'Old Mercedes top chief Cowell rejected Ferrari's offer'

Andy Cowell is said to have received an offer from Ferrari to work there as head of the engine department. According to the Italian branch of Motorsport.com, the former Mercedes top man has kindly thanked for the offer from the Italian team. A few months ago Cowell announced that he would resign as the most important man of the team around the Mercedes engine. The Briton said goodbye to the German World Champion in early July after playing a very important role in the development of V6 hybrid engines since 2014.
