Fans reminded not to attempt Silverstone gatherings

Northamptonshire Police have issued a reminder that spectators will not be permitted to attend this weekend’s British Grand Prix. Crowds are gradually being welcomed back to sporting fixtures in western Europe, with 1,000 spectators attending a cricket match at The Oval on Sunday, but Formula 1 events remain closed to the public. This will be the case for at least the upcoming events in Britain, Spain and Belgium. All Profile 1 personnel attending events have to undergo regular Covid-19 tests while remaining in bubbles and, where possible, sub-bubbles.
