Nürburgring would like to alternate again with Hockenheim

Formula 1 announced Friday that the Nürburgring will return to the F1 calendar this season. It fills the gap left by Hockenheim. That circuit announced that a race without an audience is not profitable for them. The Nürburgring hopes to alternate the German Grand Prix with Hockenheim in the future. "It would be best for us to go back to a solution where we alternate. I think that will help both of us. But we are now focusing on the coming year and we'll see what happens next," said track director Mirco Markfort to Motorsport-Magazin.com.
