Kubica given another FP1 run in Hungary

Robert Kubica will feature in the first free practice session of the Hungarian Grand Prix weekend for Alfa Romeo on Friday. The former Williams driver was given his first run of the season last weekend in FP1 of the Styrian GP, taking control of Antonio Giovinazzi’s C39. Article continues under video On Friday, however, he will switch to Kimi Raikkonen’s car, with the Finn set to take his place back for FP2 onwards. Even though missing a session may be detrimental to Raikkonen’s preparations, Alfa Romeo insist it is vital that Kubica can be given the opportunity to provide car feedback.
