Racing Point: Both drivers were not totally comfortable

Had it been dry today, Racing Point would have fancied their chances in qualifying for the Styrian Grand Prix but heavy rain at Red Bull Ring rendered the Pinks ineffective. After all, they had spent the dry opening Friday at the sharp end of proceedings but the firepower they had fizzled out ion the wet. Surprisingly Sergio Perez failed to make it out of Q1 and will start from P17, while teammate ance Stroll was good for 12th, disappointing as Q1 seemed a formality… in the dry.
