FP2: Verstappen fastest as rain might wash out Saturday

F1 Grand Prix, GP Steiermark, Red Bull Ring Red Bull's Max Verstappen ended up fastest the second 90-minute practice session on Friday at Spielberg. The Dutchman used medium tyres to end up narrowly quicker than Valtteri Bottas on the softest compound. In light of a possible cancellation of Saturday's running, teams were wary that today's FP2 times could end up being the starting order for the Styrian Grand Prix. Both Racing Point drivers demonstrated great pace in their pink cars once again, with Perez just 2 tenths down on Verstappen, and three up on team mate Stroll who finished 4th fastest.
