Verstappen edges Bottas in FP2 as Hamilton struggles

Max Verstappen took command of free practice in Friday's afternoon session, the Red Bull driver setting a fastest lap of 1m03.660s that beat Valtteri Bottas by 0.043s. FP1 pace setter Sergio Perez clocked in third, 0.217s adrift from Verstappen, followed by his racing Point teammate Lance Stroll and McLaren Carlos Sainz. Lewis Hamilton completed the top-6 but the Briton was far from satisfied with his session, with handling problems dodging the Mercedes drivers' efforts.
