Williams to give Aitken FP1 outing for Styrian Grand Prix

Williams reserve driver Jack Aitken will get a chance to drive their 2020 Formula 1 car at the Styrian GP on Friday, the team has announced. Taking over for George Russell in the FP1, Aitken, who currently drives for Campos in Formula 2, was previously a reserve for Renault before making the switch to Williams this year. Dave Robson, Williams' head of vehicle performance, explained the move in a team statement. 'If the weather allows, then this will be a rare opportunity to test some alternative approaches over a full race distance,' he said.
