Hamilton summoned to stewards over Q3 incidents

World Champion Lewis Hamilton has been summoned to the stewards at Formula 1’s Austrian Grand Prix after two separate incidents during Q3. Hamilton qualified second, just 0.012s behind Mercedes team-mate Valtteri Bottas, as the squad dominated the session. But Bottas’ error on his final Q3 push lap brought out the yellow flags and Hamilton has been summoned after allegedly failing to slow during this sector of the track. ADVERTISEMENT Hamilton, who was behind Bottas at the time of the incident, went on to record his fastest lap.
