McLaren unveils tweaked livery ahead of season-opener

McLaren has unveiled a tweaked livery for its MCL35, the car it will use throughout the 2020 Formula 1 season, which finally gets underway this weekend in Austria. McLaren's primarily orange and blue livery will now feature a rainbow pattern on the sidepods, accompanying the rainbow on the halo, which is part of F1's new #WeRaceAsOne initiative, aimed at increasing awareness of equality and diversity. All ten teams will run rainbow decals on their cars as part of the initiative, though McLaren has gone a step further in adding this to their overall livery design in their own style.
