‘Carey should try to run F1 properly'

Formula 1 needs to have 'another used car dealer' in charge with Bernie Ecclestone saying Chase Carey is not up to the job. Ecclestone sold Formula 1 to Liberty Media in 2016 with the Brit removed from his position as F1 supremo when the £6.4bn takeover of the sport was complete in January 2017. Although he stayed on in an honourary position, Liberty Media recently confirmed that expired in January 2020 and Ecclestone now has nothing official to do with Formula 1. The Brit has hit back, taking a swipe as his successor Carey. According to 89-year-old Ecclestone, Carey is not the right man to have in charge of Formula 1, and neither is F1 sporting boss Ross Brawn. He told the Daily Mail:...
