Michael Masi: 'I can't see anything changing dramatically'
FIA race director Michael Masi announces in the Sky Sports F1 Vodcast that Formula 1 does not intend to change the approach in terms of punishing drivers in 2020. Intense battles Masi thinks it's important for the drivers to be able to continue racing as they did in many beautiful battles last year, such as between Max Verstappen and Charles Leclerc during the Austrian Grand Prix. With this he says the F1 doesn't want to punish too fast in more intense battles. "In Austria, I think it will be more of a continuation of where we were with the 'let them race' principles towards the end of last year. I can't see anything changing dramatically", says Masi.
