Senna's last winning run around Rascasse

The great Ayrton Senna ruled for the sixth and final time in Monaco on this day in 1993. The Brazilian and Monaco Grand Prix record holder captured his fifth successive win in the Principality with McLaren, but with a bit of luck this time, having inherited the lead after 32 laps when a hydraulic leak put Michael Schumacher out of contention. Senna's winning McLaren MP4/8 actually went under the hammer at an auction two years ago in Monte Carlo, and it was sold for a cool 4,197,500 to... Bernie Ecclestone, thus keeping the precious car in the F1 family.
