Ecclestone: Vettel and Hamilton would make a super team

  Sebastian Vettel and Lewis Hamilton would make a 'super team' at Mercedes that is good for all involved, says former Formula 1 supremo Bernie Ecclestone. Set to depart Ferrari at the end of the 2020 season, Vettel's next destination has been a subject of heavy speculation in the past week, with some tipping him for a switch to the Silver Arrows. Both Hamilton and his teammate Valtteri Bottas are yet to sign-on for 2021, with the rumour-mill suggesting Mercedes' parent Daimler is pushing for them to sign the German in Bottas' place.
