Gunther doubles down with second Formula E Esports win

Maximillian Gunther strengthened his position as Formula E's virtual leader on Saturday, the BMW Andretti driver conquering his second win in the electric series Race at Home Challenge. Gunther's triumph at the Electric Docks circuit was helped at the outset by a blunder from from Mercedes' Stoffel Vandoorne who hit the inside wall at the first chicane on the opening lap, a mishap that left the Belgian's car damaged and unable to fight for top honours. Audi to focus on Formula E after DTM exit Gunther quickly established a 4-second lead over Mahindra's Pascal Wehrlein.
