Berger tried to convince Button to join DTM series

DTM boss Gerhard Berger said Jenson Button has showed an interest in racing in the German series, but the Austrian has so far been unsuccessful in convincing the Briton to join the fray. Button and Berger discussed a potential involvement of the 2009 F1 world champion in the DTM at Hockenheim last year, when Button raced a Super GT Honda in the series finale.
