AlphaTauri duo not keen on Virtual GP
Don't expect to see either Pierre Gasly or Daniil Kvyat lining up for the next Virtual GP with AlphaTauri team boss Franz Tost revealing neither wants to do it. With the Formula 1 season yet to get underway, the sport's bosses have decided to host Virtual GPs instead. The first took place on what would have been the Sunday night of the Bahrain Grand Prix but only two of the current crop of F1 drivers, Lando Norris and Nicholas Latifi, made the start grid. The rest of the field opted against it, including Gasly and Kvyat. 'I phoned our drivers, but they didn't want to do it,' Tost told Motorsport-Total.com.
