Hamilton fit and well despite contact with virus-infected people

Lewis Hamilton took to social media to reassure his fans that he was feeling fit and well and had no symptoms of the coronavirus despite a recent contact with two people who tested positive for the disease. Hamilton came in contact at an event in London earlier this month with Sophie Trudeau, the wife of Canadian prime minister Justin Trudeau, and actor Idris Elba, both of whom have since tested positive for the COVID-19 disease. The six-time world champion posted a reassuring message on Twitter but admitted he had not been tested for the novel virus.
