Red Bull driveability gains encouraging – Albon

Alexander Albon believes Red Bull Racing has addressed the weaknesses of last year’s car with its 2020 Formula 1 challenger, the RB16. Red Bull finished third in last year’s Constructors’ Championship, taking a trio of victories courtesy of Max Verstappen, with Albon joining mid-season in place of Pierre Gasly. Albon completed 217 laps aboard the RB16 during last week’s opening test at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya and was encouraged by the early feedback. “I would definitively say it’s more useable, you can really feel the car is nicer to drive,” said Albon. “I think there were always areas last year where we thought the car was a bit weak, in some places, but Max and...
