Best McLaren start ‘for many, many years'

McLaren team principal, Andreas Seidl, has hailed the team's start to F1 2020 testing in Barcelona as the best 'for many, many years'. Carlos Sainz and Lando Norris racked up 423 laps between them in the MCL35 over the course of the first three days of testing – at a time of year that has not always been kind to McLaren, especially back in their wretched days with Honda power. And Seidl is delighted with the progress the team has made in the midst of the bigger and louder conversations involving Mercedes' DAS system and copycat claims levelled at Racing Point's ‘pink Mercedes'. 'I'm really, really happy with how it went so far for various reasons,' Seidl told Racefans.net....
