Williams reveals FW43 ahead of F1 fightback

ROKiT Williams Racing has pulled the covers off its new-look FW43 as it targets a recovery in 2020 following a painful previous season in Formula 1. Following delays in completing its 2019 F1 car and subsequently missing the opening two-and-a-half days of pre-season testing, Williams never truly recovered as it remained off the pace throughout the season to finish last in the F1 world constructors’ championship. The poor start to 2019 saw technical head Paddy Lowe leave Williams, with the team bringing in David Worner from Red Bull as chief designer and Jonathan Carter from Renault as his deputy chief designer at the start of this year.
