Scott McLaughlin to make IndyCar debut with Pensky

New Zealand-born racing driver Scott McLaughlin is closing in on a drive in IndyCar with Team Penske after a successful test with the team last month. The two-time Supercars champion is confirmed for his debut in IndyCar this season at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway road course on May 9, and will also be taking part in the rookie test at Circuit of the Americas in Texas next week. McLaughlin will join full-time Penske drivers Will Power, last season's IndyCar champion Josef Newgarden and reigning Indy 500 winner Simon Pagenaud for the test.
