Fernando Alonso getting close to Indy500 deal with Andretti!

Fernando Alonso is getting closer to a deal to race the Indy500 with the Andretti team, according to team boss Michael Andretti. In 2017, Alonso raced the famous oval circuit in a McLaren-Honda-Andretti, qualifying fifth before engine failure after 179 laps. Alonso returned to the Brickyard in 2019, but failed to qualify in his McLaren, leaving the Spaniard still looking for the title that would earn him the Triple Crown of motorsport.
