FIA acts to prevent teams from using screens at testing

The FIA has approved changes to the 2020 Formula 1 regulations that will prohibit teams from being able to use screens during testing. Formula 1 teams are not allowed to cover the garages with screens during grand prix weekends but that regulation has not previously extended to testing. During testing teams have usually covered cars, and garages, with screens in order to try and protect developments from being observed by potential rivals. On Wednesday the FIA’s World Motor Sport Council met to approve changes.
