Ocon unaware of Abu Dhabi plans but is hopeful of participating

Esteban Ocon is set to race for Renault in 2020 but the Frenchman is unsure whether he will be able to drive for his new team at the post-season test in Abu Dhabi. Earlier this year it was announced that Ocon would join Renault for the 2020 season, replacing Nico Hulkenberg, the German's future still very much up in the air. Ocon will team up with Daniel Ricciardo next year, giving Renault a similar situation to last year when the Australian signed from Red Bull. Ocon is still part of the Mercedes setup after leaving Racing Point at the end of last season but is gradually being phased out ahead of his move.
