Haas drivers to sample NASCAR machinery in Austin

Haas’ Formula 1 drivers will both get a taste of NASCAR machinery as part of a demonstration event at the Circuit of the Americas on Thursday. Haas joined Formula 1 in 2016 to add to its ultra-successful Stewart-Haas operation in NASCAR, which is co-owned by three-time champion Tony Stewart. Stewart will bring the No. 14 Haas Automation Ford Mustang to the United States Grand Prix on Thursday, carrying out a demonstration run, before handing over to Romain Grosjean and Kevin Magnussen. “We’ll see how the engine responds to throttle application, I can’t wait,” said Grosjean. “The sound of it’s going to be great.
