Lewis Hamilton without usual race engineer for Mexico/USA

Reigning World Champion Lewis Hamilton will have a stand-in race engineer for the next two events, with his usual race engineer Pete Bonnington absent. Hamilton has his first opportunity to clinch a sixth world title in Mexico City and holds a 64-point advantage over team-mate Valtteri Bottas. But he will be without Bonnington – nicknamed ‘Bono’ – at both the Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez and next weekend in Austin. Mercedes has confirmed that ‘Bono’ has undergone a medical procedure in his native UK and will miss the next two events as a result.
