Mercedes risking McLaren becoming a rival - Wolff

Toto Wolff admits there is an element of “risk” in Mercedes and McLaren agreeing a new supplier-customer deal for engines, as if the latter continues to improve then they could represent a threat for the Silver Arrows. The two organisations split six years ago, with McLaren subsequently receiving their engines from Honda and then Renault. However, the partnership is to be revived from next season onwards with the new deal set to run until at least 2025.
